Texas AIDS Ride from Houston to Dallas

	The "holding area" is the area where all the riders congregate at the end of the last day of the ride. It was located located in Lake Cliff Park, a couple of miles from the ceremonial closing area. This allows us to make a dramatic group entry at the closing. At the holding area we get to just lie around and consume large quantities of food and drink. At this holding area somebody was good enough to donate tons of southern-fried chicken! The holding area is full of volunteers, eager to see to our every whiney need. This guy in the picture was probably the smallest volunteer there. He was a man of refined taste, as you can see he was enjoying a cup of Big Red.
